WILDLIFE CRIME IN OUR BACKYARD

Hosted by the Wildlife Crime Research Hub in partnership with Adelaide Zoo


This showcase will raise awareness of the Illegal Wildlife Trade (IWT) in Australia, challenging the common perception that IWT is only a global issue. Through multimedia storytelling and interactive exhibits, the event will highlight the real and immediate impact of wildlife crime impacting Australia, and our local communities.

WildVoice Art Competition

WildVoice is a South Australian student art competition that invites young people in Years 7–12 to creatively explore and raise awareness about wildlife crime and conservation. Art is a powerful tool to inspire empathy, critical thinking, and personal connection to the environment, especially for younger audiences who may find scientific or legal language inaccessible.
